Many times the prices have a reflect on the breeders ethics and what life the breeder chooses for her adults and puppies to live. Because no responsible show breeder could sell a puppy for just a few hundred dollars, if their adults, and puppies are properly taken care of. AKC conformation showing also very expensive. Unfortunately, many people can't see past the low prices. Even though they may have incurred thousands of dollars in vet visits to care for their unhealthy puppy.
